The 36,5-meter yacht was built in Florida in 2003 and is a very comfortable ocean-going ship. It will transport you to the famous “Silverbanks”, an undersea mountain range where the famous humpback whales can be observed at close range during mating season. Don’t miss the chance to witness a unique spectacle of nature!
18 passengers are accommodated in 9 double cabins. One cabin is a suite with a queen-sized bed, the other six cabins have single beds with an additional bunk bed for storage. All these cabins have a private bathroom. Two twin cabins share one bathroom.
Two engines with a total of 800 horsepower ensure a swift passage to the Silverbanks with a speed of up to 12 knots. Upon arrival at the undersea mountains that reach up to 20 meters below the surface the ship usually anchors. Tenders are used to approach the humpback whales.
Two exceptionally silent generators provide electricity all around the clock. The tender engines are exceptionally silent as well in order to improve the human-animal interaction with the humpback whales.
A crew of six tends to the guests’ needs. Passengers particularly enjoy the Jacuzzi on the upper deck; here you may also enjoy some drinks. The sun deck invites you to relax, read, listen to music or simply day-dream of your most recent encounter with the giants of the sea.
The ship has been equipped with the latest in technology including depth sonar, radar, GPS, two tenders, TV and DVD. Air-conditioning, a desalination plant and a defecator go without saying.
