The M.Y. Argo is the perfect blend of robust research vessel and comfortable diving yacht. The 40-meter ship was redesigned and refurnished in 2008 and now provides space for 16 passenger and a crew of 14. The ship is also home to the DeepSee – a small submarine vessel used for deep sea exploration and research (upon request and dependent on availability; extra charge; advance booking required) that allures with promises of spectacular sightings and a mystical experience – no decompression stop involved!
Three dinghies provide transportation for divers – your equipment is stored aboard these tenders during the whole trip – let’s go easy on your back and avoid unnecessary carrying around of heavy dive gear.
Rental gear, rebreather equipment, and Nitrox is available. The Argo also caters for the needs of photographers/videographers by providing camera tables and charging stations.
Between dives passengers relax on the sun deck, in the cosy lounge, or in the dining area. Here the wonderful chef performs his miracles and offers international cuisine. The diving crew is well-experienced and at work with great enthusiasm to turn your diving vacation into an unforgettable adventure.
