Wakatobi Dive Resort

LIVING

Guests are accommodated in 18 bungalows and villas that are embedded in tropical gardens. The rooms differ in location and features but all of them are spacious and lovingly decorated. The garden bungalows are a little away from the beach and amidst palm trees. The beach bungalows are front row to the beach and offer a great view of the southern beach. Thanks to the nice breeze one may even turn off the air-conditioning. The Select Beach Bungalows are located on the north beach and are equipped with outdoor showers and spacious patios with seating areas – here you can enjoy gorgeous sunsets. The Wakatobi villas are slightly elevated on rocks and boast even more space. The view from their verandas is nothing else but stunning and truly a great experience. All villas are decorated in noble woods and with a passion for detail.

CULINARY

The chef lays special emphasis on healthy dishes and prefers to use fresh local produce. The menu includes both local and international delicacies. Marvel at the creativity and resourcefulness of the chef and the excellent food quality in the open air restaurant. Please notify the personnel in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or prefer low-carb, vegan dishes or if you need to have lactose-free or gluten-free food. The bar “The Jetty” is situated on the far end of the landing stage and is truly a unique location to have a drink. The bartenders pamper guests with wonderful drinks and cocktails in a breezy, extraordinary setting. Sunsets offer a spectacular array of colours and you will be fascinated by bright yellows, intense orange and dark purple. Take some time to have a nightcap…or two…or three…

DIVING & SNORKEL

Wakatobi is a superb diving destination. The house reef may well be one of the world’s very best and is no farther away than about 20 meters from the villas. The surroundings of wakatobi is a marine protection area and boasts intact reefs and a fascinating biodiversity. Overgrown steep walls, gorgeous shoals of fish, and magnificent underwater landscapes will take your breath away. A great team of diving guides will make sure you do not run out of air and take care of your wishes. You may visit up to 40 great dive sites by boat and the local guides will happily draw your attention to the specific wonders of the Wakatobi area and will share their expertise.
